Refusing to have sex.
Unexplained absences.
Preoccupation with privacy.
Kicking spouse out of bedroom.
Unused gym membership.
Inability to remember important dates.

Two months ago at the end of May 2009 I found out that my girlfriend of five years had been cheating (so to speak). All the signs had been there from the pervious month of April 2009, sudden loss of weight, buying lots of new clothes, more phone calls than normal & taking them outside & in my car on her own, going to the bathroom with her phone txting & having quite private conversations. Working late & dressing up to go to work on a weekend. Going out a lot for drinks with work colleagues & a new found female friend from her childhood. All this happened right under my nose while I was immersed in an online game, otherwise known as the relationship wrecker.
I’d be at home looking after her child from a previous relationship & on the weekends my own child as well whilst she’d be off doing whatever it was she was doing. I became extremely suspicious this one weekend when she said she would be going to visit a mutual friend & stay over for the night, admittedly this friend of ours does live a long way from our home & she had done this before a year ago with her other girlfriends (It’s true I had the proof), but on this occasion the following morning when I went & picked her up from the station something was not right, (call it what you want but I knew!) I asked her questions about the previous night out but she was very cagey about it, so that night when she was asleep I went down her phone & read all her txt messages to not one guy but four.

It transpires that she had been having a very steamy txting relationship with a couple of the individuals & had gone out on dates with them to dinner, bars & clubs except for this final straw were she stayed in a hotel & did NOT go & see our mutual friend. When I confronted her with all the txting & phone call evidence she lied & lied & lied, she would not tell the truth no matter what I told her I already knew. Her argument was this; I had neglected her by playing the online game for four years & not paying her enough attention, as I had paid her attention but admittedly not enough! She claims she did not sleep with any of the men she had been receiving attention from all she did was go out on dates with them, but one guy in particular she had taken a liking too how made her laugh, I spoke to this guy & explained the real situation, to his surprise, obviously he new nothing of her real life style, apologised! Stated that he had not slept with her & told me to tell her never to call or txt him again.
She has subsequently changed her number & no-one has it bar me, close friends & family, stopped all fraternising & all of her attention is now focused on me & mine on her as I’ve stopped playing the online game.
I do love this woman very very much hence I’m trying to put this all behind me & move forward but it’s eating away at me inside & I don’t know what to do?
Reading through her txt messages it reads like she did sleep with the guy as she confided in three other people, but I spoke to the guy & he was disgusted with her & claims that he did not sleep with her.

Confused! What should I do, stay & work it through or go?

the only way this can possibly workout is thru professional counseling for both of you. trying to get passed this on your own is very tough when trust has been broken. every time she will be even one minute late or you can’t get her on the phone will eat you up with suspicion.

My mom is in spain for 5 weeks working on her masters and my dad is practically never in the house he smells nicer and dresses nicer than before, My dad;s friend was having a barbecue and me my dad and my little brother went, then wjen they put music on my dad was dancing with another woman. My dad also likes his privacy and doesnt like me looking at his cellphone either and once I looked at a text message that his friend texted him and it was a forward with a girls boobs bouncing up and down , but it was a forward and I never told him that I saw it. And he only acts like that when my mom is in spain. And I live in virginia far away from spain.
Is he cheating? What are the signes? HELP SOMEONE PLEASE!
PS I am not 100% sure because about the text message I am not sure he wanted to recieve it becasue his friend is divorced and has had a bunch of woman andoesnt care about his daughter so I am not really worried about the text.
But I am still worried and have dreams about it every night!!!!! If I find out I will Shave her head

My wife and i have been married for 5 years , we have had a roller coaster relationship with many good times and many trying times. We love each other very much, i have been very unfaithful in the past and hurt my wife on many occasions, but in the last 4 months made a commitment to change and never be unfaithful again. (i am a born again christian) During my transformation my wife got angry and fed up and decided for us to separate, which i thought was strange seeing as though i was becoming a better husband. Long story short during our separation she had a fling that lasted 2 weeks, but she quickly realized that our marriage was worth much more so we got back together after a month and a half of separation.

We began marriage counseling at church which had been going really well, and 2 weeks in to the counseling and repairing of our marriage, we discovered that she is pregnant with the fling that she had. We have no children but have been trying in the last last 6 months to get pregnant. I am completely devastated and emotionally torn, i really love my wife and don’t want to lose her.I know what she did is wrong and has a bigger impact but i have done much worse with more women i was just a little more careful…… I am willing to adopt the child as my own,as the bio dad wants an abortion; but i am not sure if i will be able to handle it down the road once the child is born and have a change of heart. Is it normal for me to want to stay with her?? Or is this a sign for me to leave her?? If anyone has been through a similar situation your feedback would be much appreciated

I have forgiven her and i am willing to work it out, my concern is whether i will have buyers remorse down the road or is it normal for me to want to stand by her through this ordeal?? Will i resent the child or will i love and care for the child, i am naturally a loving caring person, but obviously this situation is different. Also at least i know the truth going in rather than finding out the child isn’t mine years later.

I know for a fact that my friends husband is cheating on her and he even went out to dinner with his ex-girlfriend while my friend was at work. Whats sad is that they have 2 children together and I think shes in denial and doesnt want to believe it.. I told her that I think she should break up with him.. But shes to scared to even confront him.

if your husband and father of two small children has a sexual relationship with a 28 year old girl… will he always be thinking about her? Or is he just a hormone hairy who just thinks about sex all the time with anyone, anywhere? Would it have been special to him at all, or can he move on and forget her?

He probably would forget about her IF she was just a piece of a*s on the side for him but if she meant more to him then he probably wouldn’t forget about her for a long time.

My husband has been flirting around with a certain girl at his work, I walked outside at a function and they were close and talking. Nothing apparent was going on but I went off on him (away from the party)because they were on the side of the building away from all other people. Heres the 2nd half…and my main question…If your husband is cheating or even wants to cheat, while at a work function is he more likely to ignore that person after this past incident because he doesnt want to be too obvious, or will he interact friendly with her because he was so insistant that they are just friends? If he is still interested in her or anything is going on how would he interact with her when Im around. Husbands true opinions Wives with this experience anwer too please.
